Day 329: Eat Clean, Shred Hard, Think BIG!
G'day,
As I was cruising through my 40 minutes of sub-maximal cardio today a thought came into my mind.
I got an intense feeling that the progress I make in the next 36 days is gonna define my short-term and possibly long-term future.
Fulfilling My Dream
If I am to fulfill my dream of becoming an online personal trainer (see poll in the right-hand nav bar) I gotta practice what I preach big-time for the next 36 days!
The reason I think this is because credibility is everything when it comes to personal training. Not only do you have to demonstrate that you have "walked in your client's shoes" and "dug yourself out of the hole" you also have to continually practice what you preach.
I'm gonna have to learn how to stay in shape all year round as other fitness professionals and top personal trainers do. I'm also going to have to ensure I don't go "off the rails" any time in the future and lose a lot of my conditioning as I did in that 95 day period.
I believe I have a lot to offer people who are struggling with fat loss in terms of mindset, accountability, training and nutrition but I can't teach what I can't do (or don't know).
I also come from a teaching background and I am extremely passionate about helping other people achieve their transformation goals. This was a major factor in why I started this blog in the first place.
I Must Exceed My M2 Results
Therefore, at a bare minimum I must exceed my Mission 2 six-pack results otherwise I would consider (and so would many other people) my Mission 3 results to be backwards progress.
I fully realize that I let myself go in the 95 day period between M2 and the start of M3. At the time I did have valid reasons as I neglected other areas of my life during the first two missions. I also sustained a wrist injury on Day 169 which put me out of action for 3 weeks.
However, the time for excuses is over. I'm gonna have to take my training and nutrition discipline to a whole new level over the next 36 days if I am to exceed my M2 results.
In short I'm have to practice my motto...every single day!
Eat Clean,Ok, time to get some rest (before I collapse on the keyboard!)
Shred Hard,
Think BIG!
Cheers,
