Day 490 Video: M4 Training Day - NYC Shred Final Countdown...

G'day Shredders,

Here is a 2-minute vid that is quite literally 490 days in the making (contains time lapse footage of M1, M2, M3 & M4!).

Now only ten days out from the most brutal training session of my life with the Super Shredder himself, Tom Venuto!

Day 477: I'm In Disney Land...

G'day Shredders,

If I thought yesterday was a long day at the Strategic Profits Live Conference just wait till you hear about today (and tonight!).

It All Started At 4:00AM!

I got up at 4:00AM to do my "homework" from the Day before and also get in my HIIT Cardio/Abs workout in the gym.

The conference started at 9:00AM with Jay Abraham and Rich Schefren teaching us Maven Bootcamp attendees how to find our true passion and act with congruency in everything we do. Jay and Rich went right through to 6:30PM only stopping for a one-hour lunch.

Here are a couple of pics of this Day 2 Session below. The first picture is of Jay Abraham "The $6 Billion Man" during his solo session highlighting his Strategy Of Pre-Eminence.

The second picture here is the late afternoon session with Jay and Rich re-capping the day and giving us "homework" to be completed by Day 3.

A Late-Night Session!

If that wasn't enough for one day then Rich decided he would have a "late-night session" for all the hardcore people where he would share sensitive information from his own internal operation.

Rich outlined his exact solutions and strategies for blogging, video and web 2.0 stuff. As Rich was discussing the power of video he went live on the web to his hugely successful 66 Seconds Video Contest. Rich did this because it displayed how you can generate "buzz" for your own product or service.

Rich Played My Video On the Big Screen!

Would you believe that Rich then played the winning videos! I gotta say it was a surreal feeling to have my winning video played up there on the big screen and then getting applause for my effort from the other attendees.

Here is the video below:

Would you believe I actually felt weird having to watch my video along with 70 other people in the same room. I also realized as I watching just how far this journey has taken me.

What started out as a simple idea on September 24, 2006 (which ended in failure the first time around on October 25, 2006 and resumed on November 8, 2006 right up to the current day) has literally landed me in Disney World watching the actualization of my idea on a big screen at an $8,000 conference that I won tickets to via that video!

How weird is that?!

The Bottom Line

The point I'm trying to make here is that if you are true to yourself and follow through on your dreams and goals you just never know what cool and crazy things may lie ahead of you.

However, if you give up after the first try and abandon your dreams (like I could have after my first failed attempt) you'll never know what might have been.

Trust me, there were also many other times over the previous 6 years when I was tempted to give up, but I always had that little voice inside of me that implored to keep going and try again. That little voice (intuition) turned out to be right all along.

Needless to say, I felt like I was in Disney Land when I went to sleep tonight, wait a second...

Cheers,
AJ

Day 435: One Year Anniversary Of My First YouTube Video!

G'day Shredders,

I'm past my sleep deadline by 30 minutes so I'll have to be real quick today!

Day 70: My First YouTube Video - Thank You To My Mentors

One year ago today I uploaded my first ever video onto YouTube. It was Day 70, January 17, 2007 and I thought it would be a good idea to say thank you to my family and my mentors Tom Venuto, Nick Nilsson and David Grisaffi.

Just for old-time sake here is my first ever YouTube video...

A Sudden Rush Of Anxiety...

As soon as I hit the upload button I feel a sudden rush of anxiety...I wondered if anyone would bother watching and what their opinions would be. I honestly didn't know what to expect. However, when I checked the vid the next morning I was ecstatic that I had 24 views and a couple of comments!

1,210,278 Views Later!

Now one year on, I realize that uploading that first vid set in motion a chain of events that has now resulted in 1,210,278 video views one year later! It is kinda surreal when I think about it as I never expected this kind of response.

I guess it just goes to show that if you remain focused and consistently practice what you preach great things can happen!

84 Days In 48 Seconds: 2008 Version

To mark this one year anniversary I have updated for 2008 my "biggest" YouTube video titled: 84 Days In 48 Seconds - Time Lapse Weight Loss. Here is the new version below (contains a few more clips).

Shredder Council Message: 84 Days Down!

How time flies when you are having fun! To my fellow Shredders in The Council please have your final 84 Day pics to me by 2:00PM tomorrow. We'll wrap up this weekly accountability phase in style with a big eye towards the future!

Day 24 of 84

Nutrition: My meal plan was spot on today.

Cardio: I did my old fave: BFL style HIIT cardio. I underestimated my own endurance as this cycle was way too easy. I'm gonna up the cycles tomorrow!

Day 402: Going Down To The Wire...

G'day,

Would you believe that the 66 Seconds Video Contest is still going! I was under the impression that it would be over in 24 hours but it seems to have been extended for another 8 hours.

So, from what I understand now, the contest will be wrapped up by 7:30 (RTP Time) meaning there is about another 3 hours to go.

5:30 PM Update:

Below is a screenshot of the current Top 3 in the Compelling Category. You can see that my video currently has 53 Diggs which is 6 Diggs behind the leader (puppet snowman) and 12 Diggs in front of the 3rd placed video (Andrew Lock's video).

*3:00 AM Update:

Hard to believe but the contest is still going 38 hours later! I am now only 1 Digg behind the "puppet snowman" with the current tally of 63 vs. 64. I really have no idea when this contest will end...I just hope there is a definite result by the time I wake up tomorrow. Either way the result goes is ok by me.

To tell you the truth I'll be glad when this contest is over as I wasn't able to focus fully on my workout this morning.

Doing these kind of contests are fun but they can be a little draining. I definitely will not be entering any more online contests until I finish Mission 4. If you would like to vote details are below.

How To Vote:

If you feel that my video submission (shown below) is worthy of your vote you can Digg the video at this link:

I'll be back later on today with a ShredderSphere update after I finish my workout.

Shredder Council Update: My "Secret Blog" Revealed Tomorrow

Just a reminder to Shredder Council Members to please have your weekly pictures to me by 2:00PM tomorrow. Also, in tomorrow's video I will finally discuss my "secret blog" that I have never posted on this blog before.

I'll talk about what I learned from my first attempt at blogging a physique transformation and why I failed to make any progress over this time period (I actually went backwards). Actually, you can see a few frames of this old blog in the video above.

Readers of My Biggest Secret will be familiar with this story, however I'll also discuss some specific details that I've never gone into before like where I went wrong with my training and nutrition.

ShredderSphere Update: Thank you Raiden

Thank you Raiden for your kind offer to organize a HTML Table for the ShredderSphere layout. If you could do that I would really appreciate it. Just leave a comment in this post if you can. Thanks mate.
