Day 532: The M5 Jigsaw Puzzle

G'day Shredders,

Just a quick M5 update today as I'm really pressed for time (again!).

While the full scope of Mission 5 will remain under wraps for a while yet, I can report that certain pieces of the M5 Jigsaw Puzzle are already falling into place!

Just wait till you see what may be coming your way...

Shredder Pact:

We will focus on the single daily actions that produce results.

We will "burn our bridges" and not look back.

We will never surrender.

Day 529: Council 2.0 Requirements - UPDATED

G'day Shredders,

Today will be a very short post as I would like to draw attention to the New Requirements for Shredder Council 2.0 candidates.

Upon reflection I feel this is the best option as it allows every potential Council Member the opportunity to "prove" that they are "Council Material" before the official membership List is released on May 25, 2008.

Dawn Of A New Era For The Council: UPDATED

Version 2.0 of The Shredder Council will be going live on May 25, 2008.

Probation Period: If you are not currently meeting the requirements you have the opportunity to re-start daily accountability for the 4-week period from April 28, 2008 to May 25, 2008. The exact compliance requirements for continued inclusion at your current Council level will be sent via a personal email from me.

Day 528: Shredder Sunday # 10, Shredder Council 2.0 Requirements - UPDATED

G'day Shredders,

Welcome to a very special edition of Shredder Sunday. Episode 10 will go live soon, however there are some important things to discuss first.

Dawn Of A New Era For The Council.

UPDATED: Version 2.0 of The Shredder Council will be going live on May 25, 2008.

Essentially, today's post is a "heads up" for all current members of The Council to know what is required by the time we hit the "go button" on Shredder Sunday May 25, 2008.

Probation Period: If you are not currently meeting the requirements you have the opportunity to re-start daily accountability for the 4-week period from April 28, 2008 to May 25, 2008. The exact compliance requirements for continued inclusion at your current Council level will be sent via a personal email from me.

Practicing What We Preach

I firmly believe we are all individuals and are free to blog our journey's in a way that is congruent with our desires and lifestyles.

However, I also feel it is now time to at least lay down minimum requirements for current Council Members to maintain their position as our collective credibility is on the line if we don't continue to practice what we preach.

Shredder Council 2.0: Defined

The Shredder Council is an online boardroom for Council Members to mastermind and collaborate on Shredder Projects while we simultaneously (and strictly) uphold the Shredder Code of daily accountability via our Real Time Physique Transformation Blogs.

Entry To The Council Is By Invitation Only

The Council is the highest level a Shredder can attain and is by invitation only. New Council Members may be periodically "tapped" only when a unanimous decision is passed by The Council at our monthly board meeting.

UPDATED: Next month you will get a glimpse of what it takes to get "tapped" for The Council when the official Council Membership List is released on May 25, 2008.

For Current Council Members Only...

Current Council Members will be contacted privately by myself within 24 hours regarding their current status and what will be required to maintain their place in The Council.

Those Council Members who have passed the entrance requirements will then be contacted by myself on Sunday May 25, 2008 notifying them of their position in The Council.

A Sneak Preview of The Council Boardroom

ShredderSphere 2.0 Coming Soon...

Coming
editions of Shredder Sunday will be dedicated to ShredderSphere 2.0. Here is a preview of what is coming.

1) The requirements for current (and future) ShredderSphere Members to maintain their position at their current level.

2) The admittance requirements for new Shredders who'd like to enter the ShredderSphere.

3) A detailed explanation of the Shredder Hierarchy and the action steps required to advance to the upper echelons of the ShredderSphere (and possibly The Council for a select few).

Below is a "sneak preview" of the "Beta Version" of the new ShredderSphere 2.0 Interactive Community that will be going live soon.

Welcome to
Shredder World!

This is the new look layout for all things Shredder! I feel it is best to make a "Bumper Edition" every Sunday that not only documents breaking news from the ShredderSphere from the previous week but also the Shredder Archive!

After all, the Shredders who kicked off the Original RTP Group Shred have been shredding hard for close to 150 days now. Actually the original Shredders (who are still active) are a part of Shredder Folklore as they are members of a very exclusive club, The Shredder Council.

N.B. Another reason the Shredder World only goes live once a week is because my blog was under lock-down from Day 460 to Day 473 due to the same links being posted every day (traits of an automated blog).

Day 526: M5 Pre Shred - RTP Mission Control Re-Activated

G'day Shredders,

The Power Grid at RTP Mission Control has been officially re-activated!

NYC Aftermath

That's right! The dust has finally settled from the most insane adventure of my life...Training (and sightseeing) with Tom Venuto and The New York Four in New York City for Mission 4: Date With Destiny and ECSS 2008 !

My 16-day adventure in New York, New Jersey and San Francisco was totally "off the hook" and easily the most awesome experience of my life.

Back To Earth...Quickly!

However, I didn't have much time to reflect on this journey as I was back at work within 2 days of arriving back in Japan (and have been ever since).

The truth is that my hectic work (as in job!) schedule has soaked up all my available time since my return. Since I have gotten back I have been on a bus tour up to the snow-capped mountains of Nagano (near Tokyo) and down to the parklands of Nara on that same bus (2 hours from Osaka) doing a few corporate gigs.

During this time I was in very remote areas that had no Internet access so I decided to grit my teeth and wait until the day I had some free time before I started posting in "real time" again. The good news for me is...that day is today!

While I still have a few more Post M4 Blog Entries to catch up on (as well as a couple of vids from my last days in New York and San Francisco) I will be posting daily again from today.

M5: Pre Shred Goes Live

I believe it is extremely important to continue practicing what I preach in regards to daily picture and blog accountability. I have learned the hard way from previous Missions that the slide backwards is directly proportionate to the length of time of my Post Mission "chill out period".

Therefore I will continue to post daily M5: Pre Shred pics to hold myself publicly accountable in the lead-up to the official start of Mission 5.

I will reveal the full scope of M5 in due time, but I'll say this right now...M5:CD will be a biggie!

A Bold Prediction...

This Mission will be a "once in a lifetime experience" for me and a certain number of hand-picked Shredders - who make it through the screening process.

I'll make a bold prediction...There are a few of you reading these words right now who will achieve the following:

The Body Of Your Dreams...At A Dream Location...Surrounded By The People Of Your Dreams!

That's all I can say right now...

Shredder Pact:

We will focus on the single daily actions that produce results.

We will "burn our bridges" and not look back.

We will never surrender.

Eat Clean,
Shred Hard,
Think BIG!

Cheers,
Adam Waters, NESTA-CPT

P.S. Below are Day 526 Mission 5: Pre Shred Pics for April 18, 2008.

P.S.S. As I mentioned above I still have a few days to catch up on from my last days in New York and San Francisco. In the interests of continuity those posts will appear on the dates they occurred (i.e. below these "real time" posts).

P.S.S.S. On the next edition of Shredder Sunday - Day 528 - I will post full details of Shredder Council 2.0 Membership requirements as well as new ShredderSphere & Shredder Blog Roll parameters. These new requirements will have ramifications on who will be eligible to participate in M5 (i.e. we all gotta practice what we preach!)

Day 512: Last Day In NYC - REM Live At The Colbert Report!

G'day Shredders,

My final night in New York City was officially "off the Richter Scale"!

My Fellow Shredder (Codename L) and I caught a live taping of the Colbert Report last night.

Colbert Live!

Stephen Colbert was at his brilliant best tonight as he went through three whole segments without missing a beat. He is definitely one of the most quick-witted comedians you'll ever see!

Below is a clip from tonight's show where Stephen humbly accepts a Peabody Award and exclusively covers the Annual Australian Duck Fashion Show!

REM Live!

As we were lining up for the live taping we got some really cool news about who tonight's guest would be...REM! In over 500 episodes of the Colbert Report this was the first time they ever had a "bone fide" rock band on!

I have also been a massive fan of REM since my late teens (Automatic For The People is a fave!) so it was amazing to see REM play live in such an intimate setting. Believe it or not they actually played three songs for the audience!

In the clip below you'll see the live performance of REM's latest single, Supernatural Superserious as it appeared on the show.

We were only about 10 feet away from Michael Stipe as he performed this song, and yes Michael was in fine form too!

Thank You Tom And Lilla!

Before I sign off I'd like to thank Tom Venuto and Lilla for chauffeuring me all around New York City and New Jersey during my 2-week stay.

Tom and Lilla both took time out of their busy schedules and made my trip to NYC an incredible experience! Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity!

Below you can see a couple of pics from the night's events.

The pic is pre-show standing out the
front of
Colbert HQ on 54th Street.

This pic was taken in front of REM's
sound gear loaded up on the footpath!

Shredder Pact:

We will focus on the single daily actions that produce results.

We will "burn our bridges" and not look back.

We will never surrender.

Eat Clean,
Shred Hard,
Think BIG!

Cheers,
Adam Waters, NESTA-CPT

P.S. The "warm-up" comedian drilled me on my Aussie-ness in the pre-show ! You can get a blow-by-blow account at Lilla's Blog!

P.S.S.
I apologize for my lack of posts recently. I am currently a quarter way through a brutal 2-week work schedule at the moment so all my available time is quite literally spent working, eating, planning, training and sleeping. I will be back to "real-time" on this blog by the next edition of Shredder Sunday.

On the plus side, this recent downtime has enabled to start planning M5. This will be The Mission To End All Missions and as I have previously mentioned it will involve more than just one person!

Stay tuned to this blog for details on M5:CD, serious Shredders will not want to miss this one!

P.S.S.S. Shredder Council 2.0 Update: Daily picture and blog accountability during Missions will be a requirement to maintain your place in The Council as we must practice what we preach in order to maintain our credibility.

I strongly suggest you get back into the daily accountability habit before SC 2.0 goes live if you'd like to remain a member of The Council. Trust me, once you see what I've got in store for M5:CD it will be worth your while!
