Day 495: M4 Shred - 84 Day Report Card

G'day Shredders,

This will be a very quick post today because I got a plane to catch!

It All Started On Christmas Day 2007

Back on Day 412: M4 Shred Starts Now (December 25, 2007) I started my new Real-Time Accountability Strategy of posting my daily schedule which included meals, workouts, mental training and journaling.

M4 Shred Parameters

I promised I would give myself a Compliance Score (COM) out of 10 for each of the 84 days until Day 495 (today) with the dual goal of making a physique transformation and holding myself externally accountable.

Why I Kicked Off On Christmas Day

In retrospect kicking off the M4 Shred on Christmas Day was the best thing I could have done because it was symbolic of ingraining the self-discipline I would need for the M4 Shred as I promised to myself to avoid all junk food over Christmas and the New Year period (which I did) and to make sure I got in my pre-scheduled training.

My Stomach Was Churning

I also knew that implementing RTA was the only way I was going to get my game in order for M4 Training Day with Tom Venuto because I was in a very stagnant state around this time. My stomach was literally churning every second of every day (still is!) in anticipation of this Day 500 Training Session with Tom.

The greatest fear I held was not being in shape by Day 500, which is actually a "negative motivator" but when harnessed correctly this "stick approach" can also spur you on to produce results when you are "under the gun".

Ok, I really gotta go and pack now, next time I post I'll be in San Francisco on Day 496.
