==================================================================

G'day Shredders,

Yesterday I asked the Shredder Council to reflect on their experiences in the last 7 days since we kicked of the Group Shred.

After visiting the VIP Blogs I was so blown away by the heartfelt responses and outpouring of positivity and optimism I thought I'd let my fellow Shredders do the talking!

Below are just a couple of excerpts from a couple of the Shredder Council blogs:

From Christy:
Adam asked us to blog about what has surprised us so far on this mission, personal victories, challenges we've overcome on this group shred. That is a tremendous undertaking.

I'll go with the obvious and say I am completely surprised at the level of community feeling of our Shredder Counsel.

I am even more surprised to discover the depth of love and affection I have in my heart for my fellow shredders and Adam. I could never have imagined just how much you all could mean to me in such a short period of time.

From Michael:

What has surprised you the most so far?
As many people have said, the most surprising thing for me is the amazing support that has come from the Shredder Council. People who didn't know each other have come together via the internet and given each other much needed support.

However, equally as surprising to me is how focused effort can bring noticeable results in just one week. Through the use of daily accountability photos, I see differences in every single person on the Shredder Council and it has only been seven days.

From Dougal:
What has surprised me.

At the start of this shred I knew, because of the overwhelming popularity of Adam Waters' blog that there would be a number of people wanting to participate in the shred. What has surprised me is, that given the number of people viewing Adam's blog on a regular basis, there were so few people willing to take on a challenge.

I have also been surprised at the stickability of the "Faithful Shred Council". The people involved in this shred are people living in the "real world" and are "real people". People with integrity, values and principles. People that I'm certainly very proud to be associated with. Making a commitment means something to all of us, and once started will definitely be successfully completed.

How awesome are these guys! Like I said I'm blown away daily by raw passion and enthusiasm in the Shredder Council, and to quote Michael, "Something tells me that we are blazing a trail here that others will follow."

P.S. My hat goes off to all Shredders, you guys are doing something that is very rare in this world. You are taking massive action on your goals and dreams AND holding yourself accountable daily to manifest your new reality...in real-time!
