Day 86: These Stats Are Mind Blowing!
Day 86
Status: Rest & Recovery Period
12 Week Fat Loss Mission Complete
G'day,
Well, it has been an amzing couple of days. I just took a look at the stats from my blog and it blew my mind! Would you believe that I have had more visitors to this blog today than in the previous 4 days combined! I think it was the Day 85 video I posted on YouTube that sent a heap of traffic my way.
In fact, I now have daily readers across 5 continents and 19 countries! How cool is that? Below are a couple of screenshots from my stats. Do you see all those little orange dots? Those dots represent the location of visitors.
Like I said before this blog originated as an idea in my mind to hold myself accountable by forcing myself to take daily pictures. Of course, I had visions that this blog may take off and be an inspiration to other people but I never imagined it would happen this quickly.
In the coming weeks I will change the focus of my blog. Instead of it being "all about me" I will try to make it "all about you." That's right, if you are inspired by what I have done then I don't want you just to read it, I want you to take action yourself.
Of course you must be willing to take the first step. If you are ready then I have some cool ideas I will soon implement into this blog so you can hold yourself accountable to your dreams.
However, I do realize that the success of this blog hinges on my physique. I mean why would you bother reading about someone who doesn't practice what they preach. I know I certainly wouldn't.
In light of this I really need to take a break. I need to rest not only my body, but also my mind and emotions, otherwise I will "burn out" like I did 6 years ago.
So I'm going to give it to you straight right now. I will not be making any more posts on this blog until Monday, February 5th 2007. I need time to reflect on what has gone down in the last 12 weeks and also time to map out my future muscle gain goals.
In fact, I have 3 books and 2 DVD's to analyze this weekend before I design my muscle gain phase. I will let you know on Monday how I am going and my thinking process on how to decide which program to follow.
One more thing...I WILL NOT be gorging on any more junk food. This is key, you have to know your limits. Trust me, it doesn't take long for all that hard work and sacrifice to be undone if you go to hard on your "free days." For proof of this just take a look at my fridge!
As you can see it is freshly stocked with 4 salads, 1 piece of salmon and 6 eggs. Yes, even though I am taking a rest I am still gonna eat right.
Until Monday,
Eat Clean,
Shred Hard,
Think Big!
Peace, AJ

Man, terrific job...took great dedication and a lot of hard work. It's an inspiration to myself. I check this blog out whenever I can as I am tryin to change myself as well. One question for you though: In the beginning, did it seem like you didn't improve? Because it's my third week and I haven't seen the slightest bit of change :/ (and I've been training hard...)
I'm just curious to know if you had any doubts of yourself. Thx and
great job! Keep up the good work!
G'day mate,
Thanks for your post. To be honest this time around I felt the change almost immediately. However, as you may have read this was not my first attempt to document a physique journey daily (with pictures).
In case you haven't read the post I am referring to here it is Day 66: My Biggest Secret Revealed!
In this post I talk about the difference between my first failed attempt and why this time I was successful. I didn't fully understand why myself until I thought about it on Day 66!
It had more to do with my mindset than anything I was doing inside the gym or with nutrition.
I hope this helps, let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Cheers,
Adam
