G'day,

Hot off the press! I have just written a free report titled, My Fat Loss Mentors. Inside this report you'll learn more about the three guys who helped me turn my life around after 6 years of failed fat loss attempts.

You also get the inside story of how I implemented their advice and made a full-blooded physique transformation in 12 weeks for Mission 1 (and Mission 2).

I am also revealing some "never before seen" pictures of my redemption trip to Phuket with the goal of inspiring you to take massive and immediate action on your physique transformation goals.

Are you ready? Ok let's get to it!

Hi Adam,
Thanks very much for setting out exactly what you have used to achieve your goals in this post, it succinctly shows us what you did and makes it feel so achievable for all of us here too.

i'd be interested in any book you write one day too!!
Enjoy your break, Kel.

Hi Kel,

Thanks for your comment. I do get a lot of questions about nutrition, training and abs so I thought it would be best to outline the exact programs I followed for Mission 1 & 2.

While these books contain critical info in regards to physical training and nutrition, I believe the mental game also plays a huge role in your success.

When I do finish my book I will focus on the many aspects of how to harness the power of your mind to work for you (and not against you!).

Cheers,
Adam

Adam, how did you ultimately choose these books over others? What was the determining factor for you?

Adam Waters said...

Hi Suzette,

It was kinda like those books chose me! In the 6 years I was out of shape I tried a lot of programs to get into shape. I have enough "before pictures" to fill a fmaily album.

The combination of these books is what ultimately worked after 6 years of failure. You can see from the current results in my 2 missions so far that my smile says it all!

Cheers,
Adam

so basically you are saying that you didn't know if these programs will work until you got into actually doing them?

Hi Suzette,

That is a very good question.

The 3 books (listed above) I used are the best books I believe when it comes to physique transformation in a short period of time.

However, it is also true that I was not able to harness the "power of my mind" to make any significant change in that 6 year time period.

I am writing a book now on my experiences, I have called it the 7 Steps To Redemption. For me the sixth step is exercise. That is not to say it is the sixth most important, it is just that a lot of groundwork has to be done first (with your mental state) before you can transform your body.

Everything flows from your mind (and spirit) I believe.

Cheers,
Adam

I am reading a book on leadership and in it the author talks about the performer part of leadership. I wanted to share a paragraph with you. "Becoming a Performer requires a certain mindset. It starts with the correct mentalities. Without the right frame-of-mind, without the proper assumptions, the thoughts a person has wil significantly limit his or her performance. Proper thinking is the foundation of proper actions, and proper actions are what give birth to performance." I thought this goes right along with what you are saying about the mind being key in your success. I have found this to be so true in my own circumstances!

Hi Suzette, I am in total agreement with you and the excellent paragraph you quoted. I think if you really break it down, transforming your body is the primarily the work of your mind.

Not just setting goals and visualization but also in the practical application of workout routines. It is your mind that must trigger the motor nuerons to fire to pump out that "one more rep" not your muscle.

Whether you can complete that last rep IS a function of your mind, and as we all know it is in that "last rep" where all growth occurs.

Cheers,
Adam
