G'day Shredders,

I'm blown away!

You guys have astounded me with the support and encouragement you have shown each other (even before we went "live" with Day 1!)

I'm also very pleased to report that all RTP Blog Shredders are present and accounted for as we go "live" with Day 2.

I've got a very good feeling about this...we may have just triggered a snowball whose destiny it is to become an avalanche of self-fulfilling physique transformation prophecy!

RTP Group Shred Video: Day 2
I'm Blown Away!

Inside this video you will discover...

  1. RTP:GS Update: Why I'm so blown away!
  2. Day 2: How important this day really is.
  3. Training Tip: The hidden power of daily picture accountability.
  4. Shredder Q&A: I tackle Andrew's question about "rest days" while "shredding".

Until tomorrow...

Eat Clean,
Shred Hard,
Think BIG!

Cheers,
Adam Waters, NESTA-CPT

Hey Adam,

Another awesome video mate, and you are looking great now. You are so right about the amazing support that everyone has been giving. I think everyone has found that they have had more comments over the last couple of days than for the rest of the blog put together!!!

A web question for you now!! What do you use to record your videos on, a web cam? If so what is the make and model as I am after one and the quality is great.

You have no idea how hard this rest day has been, resting!! I have compensated by eating as clean as you could.

Take care,

Andrew

Hi Adam:
Your body transformation is one thing to sing about, but your heart and continual encouragement...well that is worth shouting about from the mountains of BC...doing it!

Hi Adam,

1 question here: In your flashback pic, Day 1 and Day 2 seem a LOT different. Is it because that you intentionally puffed out your stomach for dramatic effect? Or is it magic?

Alex Anselmo said...

Hi, Adam

Thanks for adding me, mate.
Thanks also for the enlightenment on rest days.

By the way, please update my bloglink. It should be "my QUEST" blog.

Many thanks,

Alex

Adam, you are awesome! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for getting this going. It was the motivation I needed to take it to the next level.

To Andrew, Bec, Massimiliano, Josh and Joni, awesome job on staying in contact! Together we shall succeed!

Hi Andrew, thanks mate. I use the built-in web cam on iMac. You are right, rest days are tough to get through, your mind starts racing "am I doing enough?". But you are doing the right thing mate.

Cheers,
Adam

Adam Waters said...

Thank you Diane, you have given me and many other people great support too through your comments. your blogs and articles.

Way to go!

Hi Rayden, this is the one thing that so many people always question about me. I know there is a difference but it is 100% true, I simply started sucking in my stomach on Day 2 onwards. At that point nobody knew about my blog so I never considered what people's perceptions would be a year down the track.

I was just focused on getting through each day and in order to lift my self-esteem I started sucking in my gut from Day 2 onwards.

The Proof: I used newspapers clearly showing the date on Day 1/28/56/70/84/91 So there is no possible way I could have used "magic" if you think about it.

Every picture lines up exactly with all blog posts date stamped on this blog. Every YouTube video is date stamped. Myspace and FaceBook entries are date stamped. Articles published are date stamped. Photos from my travels are date stamped. I have bodyfat testing printouts as well that are date stamped. The list goes on and on.

To be honest I am tired of this question because of the insinuation that I am not honest. The irony is that I am now up to Day 353 but so many people get hung up on Day 2. It really baffles me.

Hi Alex, I'll get that done ASAP mate.

Adam, I know this sounds like a "broken record" but, Thanks! thanks for this "last minute" group shred. I have been long standing here on your blog because I believed in what you were doing and not too long down the road after start coming here daily I believed in you! the power of belief is immense. this shred has brought out the good in so many people experiencing it. the encouragement for each other here is beyond measure! it does and will spur the belief in ourselves that we can do this and be successful!

Another great video! It's funny on yesterday's video you said that Day One is the most important day, and that people always go back and check out the beginning. And sure enough you have a comment post on Day 353 about Days One and Two. You're so right, it's scary.

Bec and Josh, since I can't comment on your blogs, I'll say Congrats here for sticking it out to Day Two.

I've got more blog visiting to do. Happy Day Two everyone.

Otter Christy said...

One, I forgot to say Thanks again.

And two, "Duh" I forgot about as Andrew called it, your flashback guest appearance. You just look so different now.

Joni said...

Adam,
Thanks again for putting this on and for answering about the rest days - that was a question for me too. Btw, what, didn't I get the memo about covering up the faces? :) I feel so...out there...now! ha ha. I'm much more worried about how my body looks in that bathing suit than my face, but now I'm feeling self-conscious about it. Too late now!! Just more accountability, I guess...

Hey Adam,

The clocks went back in the UK last night, (I wish the kids woulf realise it but they just get up an hour earlier) I notice the Osaka clock is the same today, do they change the time in Japan and if so when?

Thanks mate,

Andrew

Hi there and congratulations to everyone working hard on their goals! i love this blog and have been watching for a long time (still lagging behind in taking action myself though admittedly!) Joni, the wonderful thing about having your face on the blog is we can watch your smile get bigger and bigger everyday as you progress - like Adam's did!!

Good luck everyone!
Kel.

Hi Suzette, thank you! And the cool thing is that now you are doing it and giving back in a massive way.

Cheers,
Adam

Adam Waters said...

Hi Christy, yeah it is uncanny isn't it!

Adam

Adam Waters said...

Hi Joni, in the Day 349 Blog post announcing the GS I gave the option to have your face covered up. If you want your face covered just let me know in this comment section and I'll do it, I'll also cover up the previous days if u want me too as well.

BTW, you are right about increasing the accountability factor by showing your face!

Adam Waters said...

Hi Andrew, no clock changes here mate.

Hi guys, it's 8:00Pm Sunday night and I'm sending out an alert to two RTP Blog Shredders, please have your pics in to me within the next hour or I'll have to go "Live" on Day 3 without you.

Cheers,
Adam

P.S. I need to some quality sleep tonight for a "double shred" tomorrow.

Otter Christy said...

I am so happy to hear you are getting some sleep. It used to drive me crazy when my Mom tell me, "Don't work too hard," so I won't say it here. I'll just say I am VERY HAPPY to hear you mention getting quality sleep. Best luck on your "double shred" tomorrow!

Adam Waters said...

Thanks Christy, it really is so important to get quality sleep ( something I don't get enough of usually!)

Hi Adam,

Oh my God... I didn't realize that my word "magic" would have indicated that I have doubted that you have probably photoshopped it. I had meant to ask whether you did something so drastic that in one day all that gut went off. I have been seeing you (I think) from day 45 (I remember you'd posted a comment on Tom's fat-loss blog), and I know that you have been true to this. I'm sorry if I had indicated anything to the contrary. That wasn't my intention. AT ALL.

Adam Waters said...

Hi Rayden, to be honest mate I was surprised (I thought we were pretty tight!) about the "magic" comment. Sorry, I took it that way, I just hear this a lot on YT (almost daily) and I'm tired of it.

When I started on Day 1 I really felt that this was my "final shot" after 6 years of failed attempts to get back into shape. So I did go "massive" from Day 1 and never looked back.

Its all cool man.

Cheers mate,
Adam
