Day 407: One Year Ago Today...
G'day Shredders,
On this day exactly one year ago (December 20, 2006) I hit the half-way mark of Mission 1!
Sleepless Nights
I was feeling great on Day 42 because after 6 years of failed attempts to get back into shape I was finally getting the job done (in real-time). I "knew" that this was the "one" I had been dreaming about for all those years.
I actually started having sleepless nights around this time because I was visualizing short-term (next day's workout and nutrition) and long-term (what I would look like on Day 84). Even though I was really tired due to the high volume of training I just couldn't get my mind to switch off!
For My Fellow Shredders
I was filled with a constant nervous energy as I became even more obsessed (in a good way!) about following through every single minute, of every hour of every day on my pre-determined plan. Put simply, I was "in the zone" and it felt exhilarating!
Shredders, today's blog post is especially for you. If you really want to make a full-blooded physique transformation against the deadlines you have set (whatever they may be) it is time to do the following: get focused, get crazy, get obsessed, let nothing and no-one stand in your way.
This is your time...and your time is now!
P.S. There was another massive reason why I was filled with a rush of nervous energy on Day 42. This day marked one of the most important milestones of this blog, can you guess what it was? I'll reveal the answer tomorrow.
We will focus on the single daily actions that produce results.
We will "burn our bridges" and not look back.
We will never surrender.
Until tomorrow...
Eat Clean,
Shred Hard,
Think BIG!
Cheers,
Adam Waters, NESTA-CPT
P.S. Below are my Day 407 RTP Blog Daily pictures for December 20, 2007: Mission 4 - Day 32 of 125.

thanks Adam! I know what you mean about being obsessed. I was that way in the beginning of my own transformation. there was nothing that would stop me from doing what I needed to do. I was determinded and focused. Now I need to get back to that level of determination.
It was on this day last year that you went public with this blog! (I don't think it was too long after that I found you here!)
If I remember correctly it is because it was the first time that you gave your blog to view to someone else than you, so the accountability really began at this stage.
I'm glad the others guessed it, because I honestly had no idea. You're looking really great.
Thank you for the motivation ADAM.. :)
I will be away for the holidays (no Internet). But I will still take daily pictures and post them when I come back on the 25 of December. God bless everybody and don't eat to much on the holidays :)
Adam, I'm glad to hear that I'm "normal" when it comes to this shredder mentality we all need to have. I wondered if maybe I was too obssessed, but it is a good obssession :-)
Hey Adam and Shredders ... it is funny you mention this obessession ... I just wrote on my blog about the need to totally immerse yourself in a topic to become successful in it. I know for me that I spend at least 2 to 3 hours every day reading fitness books, ebooks, articles, web sites, audios and so on ... as well as just starting my personal training course. The more I maintain this focus the stronger and more determined I become.
Just a quick note also to let the Shredder Sphere know I am taking a short Christmas holiday ... during this time I will be still taking daily pics, just may not get internet access to post them up. Will post to my blog as often as possible though.
Merry Shredded Christmas to you all :)
Rod
G'day Shredders, you guessed it! I went public this day last year to increase the accountability factor.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels its ok to become "obsessed", I think thats the attitude you need to have. Shred hard Luis!
Adam
