Day 491: "84 Days In 48 Seconds" Video Hits 1 Million Views!

G'day Shredders,

As I mentioned in yesterday's Day 490 Video today was my last official day at my current employment so I have been extremely busy taking care of work related matters.

In light of this today's post will be very short so I can catch up and get back to "real-time" on this blog!

1 Million Views = PRW

Anyway, as you can tell from the title of this post I recently hit a major milestone on YouTube, my first attempt at a time lapse video, 84 Days In 48 Seconds (documenting Mission 1) has now hit 1,000,000 total views!

While the milestone is cool, the real power of having this vid hit so many views is the massive external accountability factor! I have a new very Powerful Reason Why (PRW) to stay on track because that video will be on YouTube "forever".

External Accountability = Positive Pressure

There will be people who watch this video a year from now and come to my blog out of curiosity to see "where I am today". So in reality, the impact of that video will count for nothing if I go back to my "Day 1" state or the blog is shut down (like I was tempted to do prior to M3).

Can you see how powerful this is as an External Accountability Tool? I encourage my Fellow Shredders to continue to make videos, podcasts and blogs documenting your journey, because the more places you hold yourself accountable the more "positive pressure" on you to continue your Shredder Lifestyle!

Before I sign off, below is an updated version of this video you can watch right here (this version has not been uploaded to YouTube)

Cheers,
AJ

P.S. Tomorrow I'll share with you something about my life in Japan that I have not discussed since I started this blog, and the reason why I am discussing it now.

*Important:

Feel free to use this plan as a template that you can follow. However, this plan is is based on my own personal experience over 3 physique transformation missions. In other words, what works for me may not work for you in the same way.

Success in this game requires research, individual design, real-world testing, monitoring results and making adjustments when necessary. This is your responsibility, no one else can do it for you. However, if you'd like to research further the exact programs I have used (over my first 3 Missions) and will use for M4 Shred you can do so at the links below.

1) Fat Burning: 16 Principles of BFFM: nutrition, mindset and cardio.

Alright, I think the pics today really show that you have got the sixer. I know you are probably your worst critic, but I can count them there and there is a big difference from your M4 Day 1 pic. Congrats! I also wanted to point out something: you said in this post that you almost shut down the blog before M3, and look at how much has happened since then! All of the shreddersphere stuff, the people you've influenced, the trips, all since you came back for M3 and M4. I would have never been where I am today had you not made yourself continue in your journey and I thank you for that. You deserve everything you have gained for yourself and more by your commitment to follow through and walk the talk. See you soon!

Thanks Joni, you are too kind! This sixer-getting business is really starting to play on my mind. Some days when I do a double shred full-out and I take that day's pic I see a difference compared to the day before, but a lot of days I don't.

I have run about 100 km in the last 30 days to bring it out but still more to do! I definitely have a great respect for fitness pros who get ripped like clockwork!

But I think all of us Shredders also wouldn't have it any other way, daily pic accountability really does work!

I'm also glad now I didn't wipe this blog, I really beat myself up hard after M2 and was in a very sorry state around Day 190. But it is amazing to see what has happened since AND what is gonna happen soon!

I look forward to seeing you Joni!
Shred on,
Adam

Adam,

Congrats on your video milestone !

The fact that so many people have taken time to view your clip illustrates how amazing your transformation was in the eyes of the public. More importantly however, it speaks volumes to how many people you've been able to touch, and quite possibly change forever.

Personally, having seen your video, I have been forever influenced. Your unrelenting attitude and unmatched commitment to personal excellence is inspiring. To me, to the shredders and I'm sure to anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing you.

Thank you again,

--Jay
