Day 296: RTP Turbo Coming Soon...

G'day,

Today I'm gonna talk in greater detail about RTP Turbo: 28 Day Transformation Pack that I will be releasing soon.

When attempting to transforming your physique in rapid-fire mode I believe the first 28 days (4 weeks) are absolutely critical.

My Biggest Secret

So much so that I have already written a free downloadable report titled My Biggest Secret which focuses on the first 28 day period - listed in the right-hand nav bar.

*N.B. This report is currently a free bonus for subscribers to RTP VIP Newsletter. To get your copy before I "retire" this report go to www.RTP-VIP.com

Thousands Of Readers From Over 50 Countries

Since I first published this report back on Day 184 it has been downloaded (and read!) by thousands of people from over 50 countries. People from all walks of life who are on their own physique transformation journeys with their own stories to tell.

I have received many great comments from people who say that the "secret" information contained in the report has helped them take action on their physique transformation goals.

A lot of people are amazed at how honest I am in the report and how I hold nothing back in regards to my own journey and the struggles I went through to finally break free of those self-imposed chains of self-sabotage.

Honest Feedback

However, I must be honest. Some people were a little disappointed that I focused purely on mindset in the report, at the expense of my exact training and nutrition methods.

Introducing RTP Turbo: 7 Years Of Experience In 28 Days

Well, I have decided to correct that imbalance by writing what I believe to be the definitive 28 Day "Fast Start" Transformation Pack. Now I may be a little biased but those first 28 days of Mission 1 changed my life forever.

However, those first 28 days did not happen in a vacuum, they were borne out of 7 years of experience. Just take a look at my 7 Year Journey picture slide below for proof.

The first 4-picture slide details my Body For Life 12-week challenge success, subsequent burnout and my ultimate descent into depression and apathy.

The next 4-picture slide details my failed attempts to get in shape between 2004 and 2006. Yes that's right, they are all "before pictures" with no corrosponding "after picture". Believe it or not I have many more "before pics" in my picture vault!

Now for the good part! This 4-picture slide details the progress I made every 4 weeks over Mission 1. Finally, after 6 years of failed attempts I regained control of my life!

The last 4-picture slide details the progress I made during Mission 2 which was a 46-day "six-pack shred mission". This was an extremely intense time as I put my prepaid holiday to Phuket (worth $1,500) on the line and let the public vote on whether my midsection qualified as a six-pack.

Unlike My Biggest Secret I go into much more detail in RTP Turbo about what it really takes to transform your mind, body and life in 28 days. As you can see from the cover below I have separated RTP Turbo into 4 key components: Inspiration, Information, Application & Transformation.

In the coming days I'll discuss the content of each key component in greater detail as we lead up to the launch of RTP Turbo.

Peace,
Adam Waters, NESTA-CPT

P.S. For those of you worrying how much RTP Turbo is going to cost fear not! RTP Turbo will free of charge, that's a promise.

P.S.S. Below are my Day 296 pics, back in the boardies again!

Day 295: Mission 3 - Phase 2 Starts Now!

G'day,

No more excuses! It's time to get my game face on and go massive for the next 70 days of Phase 2 of Mission 3.

There is a great deal at stake as I head into the 1-year anniversary since I started this real-time physique transformation accountability project back on November 8, 2006.

You may say, "What's at stake Adam? You are not holding a public vote like you did for Mission 2?"

What is at stake is far more important than any of the goals I set for myself in the previous two missions.

Here are a just a few things that are at stake for M3 Phase 2:

  • Personal pride
  • Consistency
  • Practicing what I preach
  • My credibility
  • My self-confidence
  • My self-esteem
  • Fulfilling my self-promises
  • Living my dreams
If you think I'm being melodramatic just take a look at my Day 136 pics to see how much ground I still have make up.

However, as you may realize its not all about the body! The body is merely a physical representation of your daily thoughts and actions.

This is more about manifesting my dreams into reality...in real-time in front of a few thousand visitors!

Anyway, in the coming days I'll get more specific about the exact "muscle gain" program I am following and the necessary dietary adjustments I have made in order to pack on muscle.

Until tomorrow...

Eat Clean,
Shred Hard,
Think BIG!

Peace,
Adam Waters, NESTA-CPT

P.S. Happy birthday Mum! I hope you had an awesome day!

P.S.S. I had an awesome weight training workout beating my previous personal best for barbell bench press and pull-ups.

P.S.S.S. Below are Day 295 pics for August 30, 2007 - Mission 3 Phase 2, Day 1 of 70. Check below the pics for newspaper proof - the Osaka World Athletics Championships are on the front page!

Day 290: Mission 3/Phase 1 Final Pictures

G'day,

Today is an important post - my Mission 3/Phase 1 final pics.

The first phase of M3 has been a rollercoaster ride as I have attempted to get "back on track" with my real-time physique transformation journey after my 95 day "rest" following the end of Mission 2.

I'll elaborate more in coming days on the "challenges" I faced during M3 Phase 1 along with my "successes" during this period.

However, for now, I'll just let my pictures do the talking...

Day 289 Video: Surprise Dave!

G'day,

This video is not the usual RTP video. As may know I have a strict rule about keeping my family and personal life private, meaning I don't discuss anything related to my family on this blog.

However, today I'll make an exception so my Mum can see the video back in Oz!

My brother got a big surprise when he came over to my place. My sister and her family came to over to Japan...without telling my brother!

This is how the surprise unfolded...

Catch ya,
AJ

P.S. I'll be back soon with my Mission 3 - Phase 1 final before and after pics.

Day 288: My Sister Is In Japan!

G'day,

Just a quick update as things are really hectic because my sister and her family arrived in Japan last night! Its so cool to see her again 4 days after I left Australia.

I'll take the next two days off from blogging so I can show my sister the sights of Japan.

I'll be back on Day 290 for my final Mission 3 - Phase 1 pics.

Catch ya,
AJ

Day 287: After 45 Days Under Wraps...I Take My Shirt Off!

G'day,

Ok, this is gonna sting a little but it has to be done.

My Mission 3: Phase 1 goal of a six-pack by Day 290 is not gonna happen.

I have worked hard to make it happen but obviously not hard enough!

I originally intended to "reveal" a six-pack by Day 290 by keeping my shirt on for the lead-up and ripping it off on Day 290 - for extra impact!

The Truth About Why I Kept My Shirt On...And Why Today I'll Take It Off

This "reveal" strategy worked well for M2 but this time around it has worked against me. I think keeping the shirt on became a "security blanket" for me as it allowed me to "hide" my lack of a six-pack for so long.

What I need to do now is face reality by showing my midsection, so now I'll do just that. I believe that this will increase the "positive pressure" on me to make it happen by Day 365, not just the sixer but the whole package (as in my visualization picture).

I Have Hardened My Resolve

I realize today's blog post may seem like an admission of defeat and not my usual positive self. However, as you can see in my "7 Year Journey Picture Slide" I have been in much worse situations than this...and came out on top eventually.

In fact I actually encountered a similar situation back on Day 62: Why Swallowing Your Pride Can Be A Smart Move when I returned from my Christmas vacation to Australia. My cardio capacity has been severely reduced during my 12 day holiday because of time constraints and my training priorities.

However, I was able to get back on track quickly and crack down on my training, cardio and nutrition plan for the remaining 22 days of Mission 1 to make a successful transformation.

Here is proof below.

Here's the bottom line...once you know what it really takes to get into shape in a short period of time, and you have prior success to back it up it becomes much easier to "flick the switch" on again.

Just like the 2005 Video Flashback I posted yesterday I have once again hardened my resolve to overcome "another failed attempt" and make another rapid-fire physique transformation.

Trust me, I aint done with Mission 3 yet!

Peace,
Adam Waters, NESTA-CPT

P.S. After 45 days under wraps here is my midesction...

*Portions of this post were originally posted on Day 286.

2005 Flashback Video: Day 1 Of Another "Failed" Weight Loss Attempt

Oh man! This is painful to watch but I'm putting this out there to show anyone on a weight loss journey that no matter how many times you "fail" you can always learn from your experience, and make it harden your resolve the next time.

I'll be back in a couple of hours with my Day 287 update, and I will reveal my midsection...I promise!

Cheers,
Adam Waters, NESTA-CPT

Day 286: Back In Japan...Time To Face Reality And Reveal My Midsection

G'day,

Ooohh man! That was a long trip home!

I left Australia at 8:25 AM and finally "checked in" to my Osaka apartment at 12:30 AM the next day.

The actual flying time was only 12 hours but I had a 2-hour transit in Seoul compounded by a 2-hour immigration and customs process once I arrived back in Japan.

No More Excuses!

Anyway, I'm back home now so it's time to get serious about Mission 3...no more excuses!

As I briefly discussed yesterday my nutrition plan during the last 4 days of my vacation was "off the wall". I have some serious work to do to get back on track and hit my "dream physique" by Day 365.

The Good News...I Hit A Personal Best Tonight

With this in mind I hit the gym hard this evening. I did a personal best on the barbell bench press and cable rows! My strength is at an all-time high right now.

The thing lacking right now is my overall conditioning/definition which is a function of bodyfat - which means I'll have to ramp up my HIIT cardio.

My Revised Workout Plan

In order to address this I sat down today and worked out a slightly revised workout plan to see me through for the next 79 days (until Day 365).

This new plan is a "double barrel approach" in which I aim to build muscle and decrease bodyfat at the same time. I know this goes against the grain of what most experts say is possible.

However, I have already proven to myself that I can build muscle and lose fat simultaneously...twice for Mission 1 and Mission 2. This may seem weird but I have always said to do what works for you so I am following my own advice!

I'm Gotta Be Honest With Myself...The Shirt Was My "Security Blanket"

Now since I'm being honest with myself I'm gonna be honest with you too. My Mission 3: Phase 1 goal of a six-pack by Day 290 is not gonna happen. I have worked hard to make it happen but obviously not hard enough!

Tomorrow I'll take my shirt off and you'll see what I mean. I originally intended to "reveal" a six-pack by Day 290 by keeping my shirt on for the lead-up and ripping it off on Day 290 - for extra impact.

The Truth About Why I Kept My Shirt On...And Why Tomorrow I'll Take It Off

This "reveal" strategy worked well for M2 but this time around it has worked against me. I think keeping the shirt on became a "security blanket" for me as it allowed me to "hide" my lack of a six-pack for so long.

What I need to do now is face reality by showing my midsection, so tomorrow I'll do just that.

What failure does for me now is harden my resolve, especially now since I have readers in 85 countries following my progress! Trust me, I feel the pressure but that is exactly what I need right now.

After all this blog has always been about real-time accountability, stating my goals ahead of time, then training like a maniac to manifest my goals and dreams. So that is exactly what I'm gonna do!

Peace,
Adam Waters, NESTA-CPT

P.S. Today's Day 286 pic is 5 minutes after I got back to my apartment in Osaka. If you compare it to yesterday's pic before I left Australia it looks like I've aged a couple of years!

Day 285: Sayonara Australia!

G'day,

Up at the crack of dawn...it is 5:45 AM on August 20 and I am on my way to Brisbane International Airport for my flight back to Japan.

My 3-week vacation to Australia (and Seoul) is just about over. During my vacation I was able to get in 90% pre-scheduled weight training and cardio workouts which I am happy with.

However, my nutrition plan was a little off, especially during the final 4 days of my stay. Of course, my 4-day bout with the 'flu didn't help either.

In any case, I have a lot of work to do when I get back to Japan to get myself back on track if I am to achieve my "dream physique" by Day 365 (let alone getting a six-pack by Day 290!).

Anyway, I'll post more about my trip when I touchdown in Japan, about 19 hours from now.

Until then...

Eat Clean,
Shred Hard,
Think BIG!

Peace,
Adam Waters, NESTA-CPT

P.S. My Day 285 pic was taken moments before I left my sister's house at 5:45 AM.

Why I Started RTP Blog

G'day,

I am a 33 year-old Aussie living and working in Japan.

I started this blog (my second blogging attempt!) on November 8, 2006.

As of today, Day 510: April 1, 2008 I have posted 530 blog entries (almost daily) consisting of my "real-time" thoughts and experiences as I have progressed through mind and body.

In regards to accountability, which is the cornerstone of this blog I take daily pictures to keep the pressure on as I undertake each mission.

I have posted extensively on the four major components I believe are required to make a full-blooded physique transformation: mindset; weight training; cardio and nutrition which you can read more about in the Categories section in the right-hand nav bar.

While I am a certified personal trainer (I got it on Day 177!) I have to stress that what has worked for me may not work for you in the exact same way.

TV Clip On My Weight Loss Story

If you'd like a video overview of who I am and what this blog is all about you can watch this TV Clip below which was broadcast on national TV in Japan on Day 340: October 14, 2007 to 5,000,000 people. They filmed me for 4 hours at the gym and in my house. They then edited it down to a 3 minute segment!

Why I Started This Blog...

First and foremost I want to stress that I am a regular guy with a full-time job not related to fitness. This real-time physique transformation accountability project is something I do in my spare time.

Everything you see on this blog: the written posts; the images; the graphics and the videos have been created by me (Translation: I don't have a staff who does all this for me!).

The truth is that I am no different to you or anyone else. If you so desire you could do the same as me. In fact I would be honored if you started your own real-time physique blog if you are inspired by what you have seen here!

What This Blog Is Really All About

This real-time physique transformation journey is not about changing my body, it's about changing my life. Since November 8, 2006 I have achieved many long-held dreams that I had just about given up on.

After 6 years of "failed" attempts to get back into shape I decided to take yet another crack at transforming my physique, because I knew deep down that a successful physique transformation over 12 weeks would be the catalyst to completely transform my life.

I was right! Since taking action on November 8, 2006 the following "events" have occurred:
  • Day 45: After 14 years I finally fit into my board shorts again!
  • Day 65: I became a published fitness writer for Tom Venuto's private membership site.
  • Day 84: I successfully completed Mission 1 decreasing my bodyfat from 20.8% to 10.3%.
  • Day 116: I got a new pair of jeans that measured 31 inches around my waist!
  • Day 136: I held a public vote (and won!) on whether my midsection qualified as a six-pack.
  • Day 140: By winning the public six-pack vote I was able to go on my "redemption trip" to Phuket!
  • Day 177: I finally got my personal trainer certification (after 6 years of procrastination).
  • Day 184: I started the RTP VIP Newsletter built on the "mastermind" concept.
  • Day 202: After having 4 exclusive articles published at the Inner Circle, Tom Venuto made me an official contributor.
  • Day 230: After 95 days of trials and tribulations since I finished Mission 2 I decided to get back in the game and start Mission 3.
  • Day 331: My videos on YouTube reach 500,000 combined views!
  • Day 340 AM: Tom Venuto features me on his Burn The Fat Blog.
  • Day 340 PM: I launch www.RTP-Store.com, the place to get your RTP Training Gear and accessories.
  • Day 340 PM: A 5-minute profile on me was broadcast on national TV in Japan to an audience of 5,000,000 people.
  • Day 342: I made public my plan to start and RTP Online Coaching Service (and got a massive response!).
  • Day 352: The First RTP Group Shred goes live. 14 days of real-time accountability for 14 Certified Shredders.
  • Day 365: Closing book on my first year of (almost) daily accountability with the Shredder Council.
I attribute everything above to my increased drive and ability to take action since I started transforming my physique back in Mission 1. Transforming your body day-by-day really is a great metaphor for life changes.

While I have had to sacrifice and reign in my "old habits" I wouldn't change anything about this journey. Like anything in life, your rewards are commensurate with the effort you put in.

*Check out the Shredder Council & ShredderSphere in the right-hand nav bar for other people who have started their own real-time accountability blogs.

My 7 Year Journey

After 6 years of misery, depression, shame, embarrassment and failed attempts to get in shape I finally took massive action (and followed through) with an old idea on November 8, 2006.

The 16 pictures below document the real-life physique transformation journey I have been on over the last 7 years - including the 6 years of failure I often refer to in my earlier blog posts.

The first 4-picture slide details my Body For Life 12-week challenge success, subsequent burnout and my ultimate descent into depression and apathy. As you can probably tell there was a lot that "happened to me" between the third and forth picture that resulted in me stacking on an extra 34 kg's.

The next 4-picture slide details my failed attempts to get in shape between 2004 and 2006. Yes that's right, they are all "before pictures" with no corresponding "after picture".

Anyway, back to my reasoning for starting this blog. That "old idea" I talked about above was to start a blog/journal and document every single day of my fat loss journey with real-time pictures and progress reports in order to hold myself publicly accountable to my dreams and goals.

I did this because I never wanted to go back to my previous depressed and obese state. As you can see from my results pictures this "daily accountability" strategy has been successful for me.

Life Really Is A Journey

However, I have since discovered that life really is a journey, there is no destination. This is why I will continue to set new goals, publish daily pictures and progress reports for the foreseeable future.

I am also doing this because I hope to inspire and inform people on a fat loss journey that you really can turn your life around in a short period of time. Depending on where you are starting from, sometimes as little as 12 weeks is enough, as it was for me in Mission 1.

This process of blogging daily has also been very cathartic for me as I have exorcised some "demons" and finally got off my chest 6 years worth of guilt and apathy. The truth is that this blog was 6 years in the making, that's why I have been so "motivated" and disciplined in posting (almost daily) since November 8, 2006.

I also highly recommend this approach for anyone who desires "positive pressure" and real-time accountability on their physique transformation journey. Please don't be daunted by this blog as I have built it slowly over time. The most important thing is just to start!

Mission Facts:

Mission 1: 84 Days from November 8, 2006 to January 31, 2007. I added 1.7 kg's of muscle, and dropped my bodyfat from 20.8% to 10.3%.

Mission 2: 46 Days from Feb 7, 2007 to March 24, 2007. Dropped bodyfat from 10.3% to 6.5%. I held a public vote on Day 136 (Day 46 of M2) as to whether my midsection qualified as a six-pack. At stake was my pre-paid $1,500 "redemption trip" to Phuket (I won the vote!).

Mission 3
: After 95 days of trials, tribulations and injury I started Mission 3 which went for 135 days from June 26, 2007 to November 8, 2007 to get back in the groove and live up to what this blog is all about (again!)

Important Note Regarding My Transformations:

The results I have achieved thus far are from 100% natural methods. These results are consistent with eating clean, training hard and thinking big.

Just for the record, I will restate below my RTP Ethos:

NO Drugs
NO "Physique Enhancing" Supplements
NO Fad Diets
NO "Secret Workout Routines"
NO Shortcuts
NO Magic Bullets

If you take the time to read through every blog post you'll discover that I am true to my word.

I have never used, promoted or endorsed: drug use; supplements or fad diets; shortcuts or "easy solutions"; and I have also been completely open about my specific workout and nutrition plans (you can read more about these below).

Just a quick word on supplements. I do take protein powder (for portability), antioxidants and omega supplements (for general health). However, I don't take (or promote) any "fat burners" or "muscle gainers" including creatine and glutamine, etc. In my opinion they are not required to transform your physique.

Whether you believe the sincerity of my RTP Ethos or not is up to you. I am well aware that some people refuse to believe that I got my results naturally. To those people I would just say, "Why don't you try a 12 week intensive program and see what happens?"

The Results I Have Achieved Are NOT Extraordinary

Trust me, there are literally tens of thousands of people all over the world who have done similar transformations. My results are not extraordinary. The human body is capable of massive change when you set your mind to a goal and follow through with the required daily actions.

The other thing you may not know is that this blog was "secret" for the first 42 days. No one knew I was doing this (not even my own family!). The reason why I kept it "secret" was because this was a very personal project. I wasn't doing it to impress anyone else, I was doing it to hold myself accountable.

At the end of the day, I know who I am and what I have done. My results are on the board and whether you choose to learn from me and implement my advice is totally up to you.

This Blog Was "Secret" For The First 42 Days

However, since I went "public" on Day 42 the response to this blog and my videos has been overwhelmingly positive. I've formed friendships with people from all four corners of the globe.

Many people have opened up to me and told me of their personal battles with weight and how they have been inspired by me. It still amazes me that I have inspired people to start/continue their weight loss journey because in the 6 years I failed to get into shape I could barely inspire myself!

I guess this goes to show that we all have the capacity to transform our own lives and touch people with our journey. All it takes is hard work, discipline and being laser-focused on your goals and dreams. Like anything in life your greatest rewards will often be borne out of your greatest challenges.

You Alone Will Determine Your Success!

We are all different, we all have our own story's, our own motivations and reasons for starting a physique transformation program. We are also all different physiologically in regards to body types, caloric intake & expenditure, training experience and pain tolerance (amongst a whole host of other factors).

With that said, I have outlined a lot of principles on this blog in regards to rapid fat loss that are known the world over by many fitness experts who practice what they preach. At the end of the day, if you follow a few basic principles in regards to mindset, training and nutrition you will see results.

Of course, the level of your discipline in executing these principles will determine how fast and how great your success is. Only you can determine the outcome, there are no magic bullets, no fad diets, no secret workout routines and no gurus who will (or can) do the job for you.

Free Tips From 411 Previous Blog Posts

If you take the time to read some of my earlier blog posts from Mission 1, 2 & 3 you will find a ton of free tips and insights I learned as I progressed. For ease of navigation you will see links to some of these earlier blog posts in the right-hand nav bar.

If you are someone who is truly interested in transforming your physique in the shortest time possible you could start at Zero Day and read every single blog entry up to present day for tips on mindset, training, abs and nutrition. This will not cost you a penny.

You could also use this blog in "real-time" to hold yourself accountable on a daily basis by checking in daily or weekly. Knowing that someone is (or has been) in a similar situation as you can be very empowering if you harness it correctly.

One more thing, the contents of this blog will always remain intact and free to access. I only ask that you respect international copyright law and do not re-print or re-distribute any of the articles, images and videos contained on this blog without my written consent.

No Paid Advertising Used Or Accepted

It is also important to note that I have not used any paid advertising to attract visitors to this blog. Every single one of the 159,148 visits to this blog since November 8, 2006 have come here of their own free will.

I also do not accept any advertising from supplement/fitness companies. Put simply, I am not owned by anyone! Every blog post consists entirely of my own thoughts, I am not swayed by anyone else's opinion or the "establishment".

RTP Online Coaching Coming Soon...

N.B. I am currently putting together an RTP Online Physique Transformation Coaching Program with the sole intent of personally helping as many people as my time will allow.

I will lay out out my whole system, everything from mindset, goals, accountability structures, fat loss training strategies, six-pack shredding, advanced nutrition, blogging, movie-making and a whole lot more.

If you are interested you can Click Here to fill out a survey and register your interest. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The RTP Mastermind

Once I finished my second mission I decided to create a community around this blog based on the "mastermind principle". My goal is to surround myself with like-minded people on a physique transformation who "get it". Through the "mastermind principle" we can all continually hold each other accountable via this support network.

That is why I started the RTP VIP Newsletter and wrote the free downloadable report My Biggest Secret. I also put other people's blogs in my navigation bar under the RTP VIP BlogRoll. The RTP VIP BlogRoll is the just first of many ideas I will soon be implementing.

My Workout And Nutrition Plan

If you are seeking more information on my workout routine and nutrition plan please take the time to research the books I have personally used (and blogged about) that are listed below.

These are the only fitness books I recommend for fast fat loss. This is due to my personal experience and the results I have gotten from these eBooks since November 8, 2006.

*I have implemented the workout and nutrition advice from these 3 eBooks for Mission 1, Mission 2 and Phase 1 of Mission 3. The focus of these eBooks is rapid fat loss.

If you are interested in pure muscle gain I will reveal the "natural muscle gain" eBook I have chosen to follow at a later time.

1) Fat Burning Nutrition/Mindset:
Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle by Tom Venuto

Important Update: If you order Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle (BFFM) through this blog you now qualify for my new RTP Supplement Report and BFFM Support Zone Access. Click on my Day 166 blog post below for details.

Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle by Tom Venuto. This is the best-selling fat loss eBook on the entire Internet with good reason. Tom is a lifetime natural bodybuilder who knows his stuff.

I constantly refer to BFFM when designing new nutrition plans and adjusting existing ones. I also follow Tom's advice and use NO supplements (except protein powder). This saves me thousands of dollars a year.

I have also implemented Tom's extensive advice on goals, mindset and how to program your subconscious mind for success. Trust me, this is the major factor in any successful physique transformation attempt.

2) Fat Loss Training:
Metabolic Surge by Nick Nilsson

Important Update:
If you order Metabolic Surge through this blog you now qualify for my new Maximize Surge: Membership Course. Click on my Day 75 blog post below for Maximize Surge bonus details.

Metabolic Surge by Nick Nilsson is the specific exercise program I have followed since November 8, 2006. Nick outlines a precise 46 day program that I doubled up on during Mission 1 and used exactly for Mission 2.

I have also used Nick's nutrition plan as a guide to follow because it syncs up perfectly with his fat loss training program. However, I did make adjustments to his nutrition plan because I live in Japan so the menu plans offered in the book are not available over here.Nick goes above and beyond the call of duty with this eBook, nothing is left to chance.

One more thing...you won't believe the price!

Firm & Flatten Your Abs by David Grisaffi

Important Update:
If you order Flatten Your Abs (FYA) through this blog you now qualify for my new Flatten Your Abs Support Bonus. Click my Day 78 post below for details on FYA Bonus.

Firm & Flatten Your Abs by David Grisaffi. This is the abdominal training book I followed throughout Mission 1 and Mission 2.

David has a 7 level system of building up your abs and more importantly, crucial advice on how to lower your body fat to reveal them. I highly recommend this ebook as I can finally see my abs after 7 years, its a great feeling!

By the way, Mission 2 culminated in a public vote over 12 hours on March 24, 2007 to determine whether my mid-section qualified as a six-pack. At stake was my $1,500 pre-paid "redemption trip" to Phuket. Get the inside story by watching the video on the below page link.

Click here for my detailed Day 78 blog post on David's book and the FYA Bonus.

You can choose whether you want to purchase the books or not. I do make a commission on the sale of these books but I have also done my best to include some valuable bonus items (based on my personal experience) for each book purchased.

Day 283: Milestone - 300,000 Video Views!

G'day,

Back on Day 257 (26 days ago) I blogged about reaching 200,000 combined views of my accountability videos on YouTube.

Well, today I passed 300,000 views! Never in my wildest dreams did I think my videos would be seen by that many people.

Below is a screenshot of my YouTube account that shows 300,004 views as of August 18, 2007.

If you like you can subscribe to my YouTube video channel (and help hold me accountable to my M3 goals!) by clicking AdamWatersRTP Video Channel

N.B. You can also watch these videos on my blog by clicking on the RTP Video Archive.

I would also like to say thank you to everyone that has watched and taken the time comment (over 500 comments in total) on my videos.

I know from the personal messages I have recieved from people that these videos have inspired people to start (or complete) their own fat loss jouney. Quite honestly, that is the greatest thrill for me, just knowing that I may have inspired other people to take action on their goals.

Before I sign off today I'll leave you with my 3 Top Rated videos currently on YouTube.

1) 136 Days In 12 Seconds - Time Lapse Body Transformation

Exactly as the title says. I took a picture every day for 136 days between Nov 8, 2006 and March 24, 2007 and then put them back to back in high speed. Each 24 hour period is represented by a picture of 0.3 seconds in length.

I tried and failed for 6 years to get in shape. This time I decided to hold myself publicly accountable by posting these daily pictures on my blog. This strategy worked because it increased the "positive pressure" on myself to follow through on a daily basis...in real-time.

The journey continues in real time at my blog. I started Mission 3 - a new 136 day transformation mission - on Day 230 ( June 26, 2007) and will finish on Day 365 (November 8, 2007).

You can also subscribe to my YouTube Channel for video updates throughout Mission 3. Will I reach my goal? Tune in to find out!

2) 84 Days In 48 Seconds: Time Lapse Body Transformation

A picture a day for 84 days. I was inspired by the Timelapse Noah "guy takes picture of himself every day for 6 years video." I thought...why not apply that concept to my whole body rather than just my face. This video is the result.

The time period is between Nov 8, 2006 and Jan 31, 2007 across 3 countries, Japan, Australia and Hong Kong. My goal for this mission (No.1) was to eat a choclate birthday cake while holding a six-pack of abs (NOT beer!) for my 33rd birthday on February 1, 2007.

Day 137: M2 Judgement Day - The Six-Pack Verdict

94 Responses from 22 Countries over 12 hours to my public vote on my blog as to whether my midsection qualifies as a six-pack. At stake is my $1500 pre-paid trip to Phuket. The following takes place on March 24, 2007. Events occur in real-time.

Day 282: What Do You Think Of My Swing Dave?

G'day,

I got just one question...

Dave, how does my golf swing measure up?

Let me explain. My brother Dave is a freshly-minted Australian PGA golf professional. Dave worked extremely hard for 10 years to make his dream come true.

He practiced for hours each day and honed his craft. Then last year he lined up for his greatest test...qualifying for his Pro Card.

Dave held his nerve under enormous pressure and posted a great score that propelled him into the top finishers and earn his Pro Card.

The qualifying process to make it as a PGA Golf Pro is brutal. However, like most things in life, the harder the road, the greater the reward.

In fact, my brother Dave and I had a conversation last year that has stayed with me ever since. Dave gave it to me straight up, and I used this to motivate me throughout Mission 1.

Anyway, yesterday I had a hit at the local driving range. It was actually the first time in 7 years that I have picked up a golf club!

So, Dave what do you think of my swing?

I'll put the 3-pic sequence below so you can give me a point-by-point analysis of my swing in the comment section!

Until tomorrow...

Eat Clean,
Shred Hard,
Think BIG!

Peace,
Adam Waters

P.S. This morning I grinded out another "win" in the gym by successfully moving up an increment on my "heavy" bench press routine.

P.S.S. While I was hitting the ball today I could feel the difference that having a "strong core" makes to the power and control of your golf swing.

P.S.S.S. I'm real proud of you Dave. Keep up the great work mate. Check out Dave's Myspace Homepage to learn more about Dave.

Day 281: Is It Possible To Build Muscle And Burn Fat At The Same Time?

G'day,

Wow! That was brutal!

Today I did Muscle Rounds (MR) for lower body - quads, hams, shoulders and triceps.

I have discussed MR many times before but if you don't know what this form of training is all about I'll give you a quick run down.

What Is Muscle Rounds Training?

MR is a high volume/high intensity form of training that targets fast and slow twitch muscle fibers, especially useful for training legs.

You pick a weight increment that you normally get 10 reps with. Then instead of doing 10 reps you do a mini-set of 4 reps.

Here's The Catch!

Sound easy? Not so fast! Here's the catch, you do 6 mini-sets back-to-back with only 10 seconds rest between each mini-set.

This is 1 "round", for the larger muscle groups like chest, back and quads you'll do 3 "rounds" in total taking 1 minute rest between each round.

Therefore once you finish 3 rounds you have completed 72 reps in quick succession with a weight you would normally only do 30 reps with on a standard 3 set/10 rep structure. That's an extra 42 reps!

MR Builds Muscle (And Burns Fat)

Can you see how powerful this technique is? I believe MR has been one of the major factors in my success thus far in building muscle - while burning fat at the same time. This is because MR penetrates those deep muscle fibers for growth while the high volume aspect promotes fat loss.

In fact, my Mission 1 body stats clearly revealed that I did burn fat (10.5 kg's) and add muscle (1.7 kg's) over the course of those 84 days. There is no doubt in my mind that MR Training played a big role in achieving that rare feat...naturally.

Does this automatically mean you'll do the same if you use MR? Of course not, only you and you alone will determine your results. However, it is possible to burn fat and build muscle at the same time. I am living proof of that.

NO Shortcuts, NO Magic Bullets

However, this is what it takes to transform your physique in the shortest time possible. There are simply no shortcuts and no "magic bullets" that will do it for you.

Every single workout session counts and you must continually raise the bar to get results. Of course this also means that you will never reach a point where this kind of training gets "easy".

In order to continually make gains you must be willing to go through the pain barrier every single workout.

There is no such thing as "maintenance".

You either moving forward or you are moving backward.

You never just stand still.

Nothing else in the universe stands still...so why should you?

Peace,
Adam Waters, NESTA-CPT

P.S. Muscle Rounds Training is derived from the fat loss training system - Metabolic Surge - I have used for Mission 1 & 2 and am currently using for Mission 3 - Phase 1.

For more information on Surge and an RTP bonus offer check out my Day 75 Post: Nick Nilsson's "Power Surge"

P.S.S. Below are Day 281 pics for July 26, 2007: Mission 3 Phase 1 - Day 51 of 60. These pics were taken at Goodlife Health Club in Brisbane (a very well-equipped gym with a great vibe).
